I don’t like to place limits on what novices should
do because I’m constantly surprised at what people can accomplish
given a little time and assistance. However, some cleaning aids are
so strong that you’ll want to avoid them. The problem is complexity — most
of these cleaning aids require an in-depth knowledge of Windows and
offer a no-frills interface that’s easy to misunderstand. Microsoft
designed these tools for professionals, for the most part, so you’ll
want to leave them alone.
